Hello!

I’m Co-Director of the University of Guelph’s Cuts for Cancer fundraising and "hair-raising" event.  On January 25, 2010 I will be shaving my head in support of kids with cancer and the work of the Canadian Childhood Cancer Foundation (www.candlelighters.ca).  My hair will be donated to Angel Hair for Kids, a wonderful Canadian organization that makes hair pieces for children suffering from long-term medical hair loss, including cancer treatment.

As a doctoral student doing cancer research, I am continually inspired by the efforts of both my colleagues and the cancer community beyond the lab bench.  Please help me reach my fundraising goal and consider getting involved yourself.  Every dollar helps and every cut counts!
