I am participating in the Small Hands initiative to help with the battle against childhood cancer. I want to raise money so that researchers across Canada can help develop kinder treatments and better outcomes for the 10,000 kids that are fighting with cancer right now.  Help make a difference for these kids and the 1,500 more that will be diagnosed next year. This Quilt was made in memory of our daughter Kylee, who passed away from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. The colors chosen represent the cancer colors for leukemia which is orange, and gold which represents all Childrens Cancer. "All the broken pieces of your life are nothing more than the beautiful mosaic of your future", is a quote that sums up this quilt. If you took all the pieces of this quilt and threw them in a pile, they would be nothing more than just a pile, but when they are placed together in a special way they turn into something beautiful. When your life is shattered, you can let the pieces stay in a pile, or let God put them together to create something even more beautiful.

When our daughter was diagnosed with cancer we were devastated.  The Candlelighters in Regina showed up the next day bringing a back pack full of knowledge that helped us understand what was going on, and what would be going on in the next few years of treatments.  When you support the Childhood Cancer Foundation, it covers the cost of that information for the families and much more.
