Thirteen members from TAMS (Transfield Asset Management Services) at Suncor earned the Club Cup, collecting $6945 between them.
496 visits were made to the 26 participating bike shops, with 12 riders completing the Alphabet Tour and getting their patch.
Top fundraiser went to Brian Humphrey of London, raising $2960.00.
Top poker hand went to Grant Oliver of Melbourne.
Rider John Gibson and Founder Bob Thomas collaborated on a special poem for the event’s Awards Ceremony held at Rustic:
We formed this army,
Chrome, leather, and thunder.
To have people stare,
And leave them in wonder.
Why we join together,
And create such a sight.
It’s for the children,
And the Cancer that they fight.
Cuz kids shouldn’t need chemo,
Is the reason we ride,
We will get there someday,
‘til then we cruise side by side.
So many small children,
Will live by the clock,
And with Samantha's love,
We now have the R.O.C.K.
